Eight years ago, while in a disheartened condition due to the inability of the medical profession to give my wife more than temporary relief from a condition of sickness that had troubled her for some time, we were led to read the testimonies in some Christian Science literature that had been left in a public place, and after doing so were ready to seek health and peace of mind in Christian Science. We purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and from that day to this have relied upon God to help us with every problem. Many healings have been effected for us through the power of Truth; stomach and bowel disorders, boils, rheumatism, neuritis, headaches, sprains, and fever symptoms, have been overcome. Many friends have seen the hand of God in our life and they, too, have turned to this truth and had wonderful demonstrations of God's love and care. The gradual putting off of the old man and putting on the new is the great cause for gratitude and rejoicing.

To Mrs. Eddy, who has made it possible for me to appreciate and know God, through her interpretaion of the Bible as given in her writings, and to the friends who have helped me and mine, I wish to express my sincere gratitude. God has indeed shown me the way, through Christian Science, to health and happiness.
