When I first turned to Christian Science for help there were many aches and pains troubling me, and a constant condition of being half sick. I had tried many electrical treatments, was always dieting and fearful of everything I ate, and for a year had been continually trying new medicines. After my first Christian Science treatment I gave up dieting, and have been able to eat normally ever since. As I gradually began to realize my birthright of health, the attacks of bilious headache became less frequent, and I was able to make plans for future days with the certainty that I could carry them out and not be ill with overexcited nerves. Later I was able to give up wearing glasses, which I had used since a small child.
