The first healing experience in Christian Science which...
The first healing experience in Christian Science which I recall, took place some fourteen years ago. I accidentally ran the blade of a pocket knife into the palm of my hand. Through Christian Science treatment the bleeding was stopped and the cut healed. I have had many healings since, among which are the healing of gas and electric are burns, removal of emery and steel embedded in the eyeball, protection from injury to the eyes from melted potassium cyanide spattered in the face, and the overcoming of partial deafness and mastoiditis. Christian Science was a wonderful help in solving problems in my high school and university life, as it has been in the business and educational fields since. I am especially grateful for the proofs of its protecting power during my recent army experience, and want to express my thanks for the Welfare workers and the reading rooms. The distribution of The Christian Science Monitor was certainly appreciated.
I am indeed grateful for the privilege of having attended a Christian Science Sunday school and of having been a member of a university Christiain Science Society.
