Nearly two years ago I began to investigate Christian Science, and words cannot express my gratitude to God for the many blessings I have received. I am grateful to Christian Science for the first demonstration which came to me and which was the cause of my continuing in the study of this teaching. For two years I suffered from what is called fistula. I hunted through all the books I could find that explained it, and they all stated nothing would cure it but an operation and said that if not attended to it would lead to something serious. Then I picked up a Sentinel one day and there I found that some one had been cured of fistula by divine Mind, God, good. Then I said, "God is no respecter of persons," and will cure me. I studied the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health; but still there was no healing, so I studied the chapter on Genesis in the same book. This took me about two weeks. Then one morning I awoke feeling that I was healed, and I went to the medicine chest and threw away all the remedies there. Very soon all trace of the fistula was gone.
The Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, are my daily studies. For this healing by divine Love and for the spiritual uplift which the study of this truth gives, I am truly thankful.—Stead Cliff, Los Angeles, Calif.
