It is with a deep sense of gratitude that the following testimony is given, with the sincere wish that it may be of help to some one who may still be in the wilderness seeking the way out. For over three years our every need has been supplied through the study of the Bible and its interpretation as so lovingly given in all of Mrs. Eddy's writings, especially in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." What a wonderful outlook on life this gives us! In former years when any ills beset us all we thought of was getting well; then we paid the doctor's bill and complained about the results. What a difference in Christian Science! When some so-called sickness manifests itself, if we instantly "stand porter at the door of thought" (Science and Health, p. 392) how quickly and lovingly God helps us to know that He is ever nigh, and where God is, all is good. Then in gratitude thought rises and gives thanks.

Shortly after my first healing, that of stomach trouble of a serious nature, remarks were repeatedly made at a luncheon in a near-by city, of the wonderful change in my appearance. Is it any wonder that each day makes us more thankful to Mrs. Eddy for her clear interpretation of the teachings of Christ Jesus, which bring us into closer communion with God in whom there is "no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
