All I have and all I am I owe to Christian Science, and having received so much comfort from the testimonies given in our periodicals and at the Wednesday evening meetings, I would like to tell my experience in gratitude for what this healing truth has done for me. I was a very unhappy, discontented, nervous, and discouraged woman. At the first Christian Science lecture I attended, I was healed of discouragement. My first physical healing was that of chronic bowel trouble, which vanished to its native nothingness through the reading of our textbook "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. The healing has been permanent. Since then I have been healed of extreme nervousness, irritability, impatience, sleeplessness, rheumatism, tonsillitis, loss of voice, colds, and coughs, and there has come through the daily study of the Bible and the Christian Science literature a better understanding of God as Love, who sends nothing but good to His children.

I am deeply grateful for the privilege of class instruction and what it has meant to me, also for the privilege of church membership; and my gratitude goes out to all who have helped me to a better understanding of God. I am grateful, too, for our periodicals, and want so to live that my life will attest my sincerity.
