I should like to show my gratitude by adding my testimony of what Christian Science has done for me to the many that have appeared in the Sentinel and Journal, and by this means to return thanks for all the help I have received through this teaching and for all our periodicals. I did not come to it for physical healing, but because I wanted more than the churches seemed able to give. I have, however, been healed of bad headaches and many minor ailments. Up to nine years ago I was taking medicine nearly every day of my life, but when I first read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I could not help saying to myself that this book contained the truth. There and then I realized that looking to drugs or any material things for help was having other gods, so from that day I have relied on the healing power of divine Mind to cure any false beliefs that have tried to take hold of me, and have always found it efficacious.

I am most grateful for the spiritual healing, which has shown me that God is Love and that the good He bestows is the activity of right thinking, which casteth out fear. I am also rejoicing in the knowledge that I have a Father-Mother God close at hand, ever present, and when I turn to God in any difficulty I never turn in vain. My desire is to live this truth more and more every day, thereby giving glory to God and showing in a small way my gratitude for the life of Mrs. Eddy.—Miss Lina Harry, Cornwall, England.
