I have been greatly helped in my study of Christian Science by reading the testimonies in the Sentinel, and I offer this testimony in the hope that it may help somebody in similar circumstances. For about six years I have depended upon Christian Science in times of need, and I have had many healings. I was instantly healed when threatened with acute lung trouble, and at the same time was freed from sickness and a great many fears which one may have prior to childbirth. My baby was born under Christian Science treatment with a practitioner and a doctor in attendance. Everything was harmonious and I had very little pain. I had no after difficulties and ate and slept normally during the whole time. This child is nearly three years old and he does not know the taste of medicine of any kind. He was recently wonderfully brought out of an attack of croup. He awoke late in the evening and had great difficulty in breathing. A practitioner was called and absent treatment given, with the result that in a short time the child was comfortable and even playful. He was put to bed and slept all night.

I have many blessings for which to be very grateful. My husband has been healed of rheumatism, and headaches and colds have been quickly overcome for him. I am now completely free from from a difficulty had troubled me occasionally since childhood. From a condition of not being able to walk except by leaning on the furniture and dragging one foot behind me, I am able to go anywhere. I depended absolutely on God; He comforted me through many a sleepless night, and now I am able to sleep all night and scarcely know what it is to lie awake. I am very grateful for this healing and comforting truth.
