I first investigated Christian Science out of curiosity. I had always been religiously inclined and a student of the Bible, but there were many things in it I could not understand and others did not explain to me satisfactorily. I went to a friend who was a Christian Science practitioner and asked her about these things, and when she explained them to me I knew that here was the truth for which I had been searching. Then I attended the Christian Science Sunday school and began the study of the authorized literature. I had a few treatments and was healed of stomach trouble, of frequent nervous headaches, and was able to lay aside glasses which had been worn for several years. That was six years ago, and the healing has been permanent. For this I am very grateful, but I am more grateful for the understanding that the Bible is true and that its teachings are applicable to every human need.
