Sixteen years ago Christian Science came into my life, and every day since I have had something for which to be grateful. About eight years ago I had an abnormal growth and at times could not bear to have my clothes fastened around me. I tried to overcome the condition myself and sometimes was better, but my husband and mother said so much about going to a doctor that finally I consented to do so just to satisfy mortal mind. The doctor after an examination pronounced the trouble an abnormal growth, and said I had better go to a hospital and have it removed at once; but I went instead to a Christian Science practitioner, and at the end of three months felt so much better that I stopped treatment. The growth passed away and I have never had a symptom of it since. This is one of many blessings received through Christian Science, for which I am very thankful to God and grateful to our Leader.
