Five years ago I had an attack of sciatica which continued from early spring until the autumn and made walking difficult. The drugs and liniments used during all this time did not help me, and by November the suffering had increased to such an extent that I had to give up work. The pain had become so violent that my hip seemed to be dislocated. At this stage I turned to Christian Science, and a measure of relief was experienced at once. In two weeks the pain had entirely disappeared, but it took some weeks for the hip joint to get back into position so that I could walk without lameness. There has been no return of this trouble.
