I have a great desire to tell of my thankfulness for Christian Science...
I have a great desire to tell of my thankfulness for Christian Science and for all it has done and is doing for me. It was fear and distress of mind that brought me into Christian Science. I had help for this; and very quickly, yet gently, the healing came. Through study and a great longing to know more I have been healed of every sickly thought and habit, for I had previously been greatly shackled with semiinvalid ways as a result of having been in bed for five months from nervous breakdown. When I was allowed to get up, most of my time was spent in inaction, under numberless rules of what I must not do. Now I can do everything and am strong and well.
I have also been greatly helped in so-called pyorrhea, a condition of the gums which needed constant care. I am daily more and more thankful for these many healings, but realize that they would mean little without the spiritual uplift, the wonderful joy in life which makes me so full of thankfulness to God and of gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. For the knowledge that God is "the same yesterday, and today, and forever," by which we are enabled to help others, I am earnestly grateful.
