Six years ago I was healed in less than six months of all the symptoms which had been pronounced those of tuberculosis. It was through the earnest, loving work of a Christian Science practitioner that the demonstration was made, for when I asked for Science help I was not in a mental condition to give much cooperation. I would read page after page in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, but my only thought at the end of each page was that my grief was spelled with a much larger "G" than was God, good; but at last I did realize that God is good.

Two years ago I was healed of a large swelling on the neck, which is now perfectly normal. Not long ago I had reason again to be very grateful for Christian Science. In falling down a stairway my foot was twisted, so that I suffered severe pain, and my parents insisted on a medical examination. This disclosed that the ligaments had been torn and a blood clot formed, so I was told to keep off the foot. I however used the foot as much as it was possible for me to use it in such a condition, and in less than a week it was all right.

For these healings I am grateful, but for the knowledge of a God who did not create man to suffer as I have seen loved ones suffer, I am even more deeply grateful. I am better physically than ever, and am more thankful every day for a clearer understanding of God.
