It gives me great pleasure to express my gratitude for the many benefits which I have received through Christian Science. In December, 1913, I became afflicted with shooting pain in the back, and it caused me much distress in breathing. I applied for help to a practitioner, who willingly rendered assistance. Immediately after the first treatment I felt very much better, so that my work suffered no interruption. A few days later, however, attacks of coughing set in, and as I worried somewhat over this condition, I had a physician make an examination. He stated that I had gotten over a serious attack of pleurisy, and seemed very much surprised that I should have been able to work under these circumstances. I put my trust solely in God, and was soon freed from the trouble. A few months later the same ailment seized me again. This time I suffered great pain in my feet and could neither stand nor walk. I again asked the practitioner for treatment, which was lovingly given, and within a few days I was completely relieved. I thank God, and I am grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for showing us again the way to Truth.—Frieda Senn, Basel, Switzerland.
