I rejoice with many others in being able to testify to the power of Truth. Since coming into Christian Science I have been blessed physically and spiritually. So lovingly and beautifully was the truth presented to me that I was healed of eye trouble and of headaches in one treatment, and immediately discarded my glasses. Many minor ailments also disappeared almost instantaneously, and I found myself free physically before the message of Christian Science was fully grasped. I am so thankful for the loving thought which smoothed my path and directed me along higher channels. For the past few years the illusions of sense have been overcome by my own understanding of Christian Science, gained through the study of Science and Health in conjunction with the Bible. Although the way has often seemed beset by insurmountable difficulties and mortal mind was prone to discouragement, the radiance of ever-present Love always dispelled the clouds when the desire was sincere and free from earthly taint and selfishness.
My husband has been healed of stomach trouble and attacks of biliousness, as well as many minor ills. We now rely on Truth in all times of need; even in business God is our guide, and we know that infinite Love is indeed the source of all supply. Above all else I am grateful for the higher understanding of love, whereby we may destroy the illusion that God's children reflect anything but divine Love. Every loving thought for our fellow man brings us nearer to the fulfilment of the command which Jesus gave us,—"That he who loveth God love his brother also."
I try to show my gratitude and appreciation of Mrs. Eddy's wonderful gift to us by guarding the portals of thought and eliminating all thoughts of self in my sincere effort to reflect Love. My heart overflows with love to God and gratitude to our beloved Leader for the peace and joy this knowledge is bringing to all mankind.
