It is with thankfulness to God, and gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I send this testimony for publication. From babyhood I was troubled with epileptic fits, and my parents tried everything which promised even relief, but none was received. Our family physician gave me up, saying that medicine could not reach this case, but the attacks might be outgrown. This did not prove to be so, however, for they kept getting more severe and more frequent, until I would have from five to six in one day, and they would leave me in a very weakened condition for about a week afterward, even unconscious for several hours. About eleven years ago we heard of Christian Science, and in one week's treatment I was healed. I have never experienced any symptom of this ailment since. Words cannot express my gratitude to Christian Science for this healing. I feel sure that I have been saved from a life of wretchedness, and possibly the grave, as my older sister passed away during a similar spell some years before. I also wish to speak of the healing of my mother of lung trouble. After two weeks' treatment the terrible cough lessened, and in four weeks she was entirely well.

In the eleven years which have elapsed since taking up the study of this Science we have had numerous demonstrations of physical healing, but that which exceeds the physical healing is the spiritual uplift, the putting off of the "old man" and the putting on of the "new." My parents, brothers, and sister join me in thankfulness for this great truth.
