As a last resort I applied to Christian Science for relief from a very painful and distressing eye trouble from which I had suffered for about a year. Material remedies afforded no relief, and after consulting an oculist and receiving little or no hope, I was so discouraged that I felt Christian Science was the only thing left to try. I had no faith in it whatever, but to my surprise I experienced such relief after the first treatment that I knew I had not asked in vain, and at the end of three weeks the trouble had entirely disappeared. During this time I was also healed of chronic bowel disorder and of severe headache of almost daily occurrence.

This healing took place four years ago, and Christian Science has been a daily study ever since. I am very thankful to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this truth which makes us free.—Carrie Buxton, Kansas City, Mo.
