It is because of my gratitude for what has been done for me that I write this testimony. It is about five years since I became interested in Christian Science, and I have been reading and trying to the best of my ability to understand it. In August, 1912, I was taken with a severe cough. I did all I could to try to help myself, but grew worse all the time until Oct. 25, when I had a bad fall, injuring my spine, bruising my hip, etc., so that I could scarcely walk. I coughed almost constantly day and night, had severe hemorrhages, and could not eat or work. On Oct. 27 I called a Christian Science practitioner, and in less than three weeks was perfectly healed. With the little understanding I have of this truth, I am able to do the work in a fourteen-room house with seven roomers. I enjoy reading the testimonies in the periodicals, and hope this may be a help to some one.
