Having received so much help from reading in the periodicals...
Having received so much help from reading in the periodicals about the healing of others, I want to add my mite in the hope of encouraging some one. My people do not believe in Christian Science, so when my baby was expected I had to go to a hospital. Twenty-four hours after the baby's birth, the doctor told me he could do nothing more to save the little one, for they had been working with him all night, giving him oxygen, etc., without my knowing it. I asked the doctor if he would allow me to have Christian Science treatment for the baby, and he replied that I could have a dozen practitioners if I wanted them, but that they could not come to the hospital. Knowing that God is ever present, my husband telephoned for absent treatment at eight o'clock, and at ten o'clock the special nurse who was with the baby said he became normal. So we see that no matter how much we are surrounded, to material sense, by adverse conditions, the healing is always available.
My own healing has been slow, but every day I learn something, and we can remove mountains if we take a little away every day. I am grateful for Christian Science, and to the dear Leader who labored to make it known to the world, and for all our publications.
Mrs. S. A. Seaton, Wilmette, III.
