To tell of all the blessings that Christian Science has...

To tell of all the blessings that Christian Science had brought me would be impossible, but I shall endeavor to enumerate a few of them. From the age of five I had taken medicine almost daily for bowel trouble, every known medical treatment having been tried, until it seemed as though I would be held in constant bondage; but a few days after my sixteenth birthday Christian Science was tried, and since then I have not taken any medicine or used any sort of medical treatment. That was over four years ago, and I am entirely cured.

Before taking up Christian Science it seemed as though nothing good was meant for me. I suffered from sensitiveness, sadness, and self-pity, these seeming to be my companions; but now my disposition is just the opposite of what it was. I now know that good is natural, permanent, and that "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals"(Science and Health, p. 13). If in our effort to attain habitual right thinking we always remember that gratitude and obedience are essentials of Christian Science, we will surely progress.

When I think that if it were not for Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, all these things would not be possible for me, it makes me very grateful to her, and deeply thankful to God that I have the privilege of knowing even a little of Christian Science.—Mae Anderegg, Pasadena, Cal.
