Words cannot express my thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, also to the friends who have helped me to an understanding of Christian Science. Eight years ago I turned to this teaching for physical healing, as I was not able to work half a day at a time. After a few weeks of reading and church attendance, I again took up my work of dressmaking, and have worked at it very constantly ever since. I have had no occasion or desire for medicine in any form whatever. The realization of the great spiritual truth that "I can of mine own self do nothing," is indeed a great blessing to all; also to know that God is the source of our supply, and that "man is the offspring of Spirit" (Science and Health, p. 63).

I have had many healings and blessings since I came into Science. The more I study, the clearer it seems to me that the permanency of our healing depends on how closely we realize the ever-presence of divine Love, and know in our own consciousness the truth of being instead of the old false beliefs that were the cause of our trouble and sickness. I am more grateful than words can express for this grandest teaching of the ages. The Principle of healing as explained by Mrs. Eddy in the first chapter of "Unity of Good" has been such a help to me in many times of darkness and persecution! I am very grateful for the overcomings because they bring us nearer to that divine Love which never faileth.
