I have often thought that I should tell of the benefits I have received from Christian Science. Some twelve years ago I applied to a Christian Science practitioner for help, and was gradually healed, after about three years of sickness. I had had measles and typhoid fever, and finally I was ill with an abscess in my head. Then I was ready to try Christian Science, of which I had heard before; but not being able to understand its Principle, and still looking to personality, it took me a long time to see the way. As I had no one to help me and was not able to work or take care of myself, I can truly say that God's help and wonderful ways led me to accept Christian Science. This truth was most surely in my case that heavenly manna (bread) which fell from heaven down on the desert of want and sickness, and gave me hope and health.

I am now well and strong, and these sickness which I had and of which I was healed through treatment and the study of Christian Science, have never returned. I am trying to apply Christian Science to all my every-day problems.
