Over two years ago I was called upon to read from Science and Health to one who was under Christian Science treatment. I knew absolutely nothing about its teaching, and commenced to read it just as I would read any other book; only I was not expecting to get anything out of it myself, not even entertainment. I was, however, healed of eye trouble of six years' standing, and also of goitre, without any treatment, simply by reading the text-book of Christian Science to another. I am very grateful for this healing, and for the many other physical blessings which I have had in the last year and a half; but all this seems insignificant compared with the spiritual uplifting, the perfect peace and happiness which has come into my life as a result of my study of Christian Science. I am trying so to live that I may prove, in a measure at least, my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science. I have not gone into detail, but will be glad to answer the questions of any one who desires to know more about my healing.
