I wish to express my gratitude for the healing of my eyes. For more than five years I was compelled to wear glasses constantly, putting them on the first thing in the morning and taking them off the last thing at night. On Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, 1906, I attended the testimonial meeting of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Baltimore, and after the meeting, which was very helpful, my cousin advised me to take treatment. My cousin brought a practitioner to me, and after a short talk I decided to take treatment. I took my glasses off then and there, and have not used them since. At first I suffered some inconvenience, but after several months' treatment my eyes were normal.

To say I am grateful is not sufficient; I cannot express my gratitude in words, but am trying to do so in daily deeds and thoughts. I am grateful to God that I ever heard of this great truth, and also to Mrs. Eddy for all she has done for suffering humanity.
