One Friday evening there was an uncomfortable feeling...
One Friday evening there was an uncomfortable feeling in my thumb, and the pain increased so rapidly that it robbed me of my rest that night. Next morning I was so sick that it required an effort for me to leave my bed, and my thumb was badly swollen with what appeared to be a felon. By noon I called to see a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help. Fear was conquered and I was able to return to the office. During the evening the pain subsided, and I had perfect rest that night. Sunday morning I attended the service with quite a degree of freedom, and by Monday afternoon the opening came without pain. The feeling of distress at my heart was overcome, and my arm became normal. This healing was accomplished with three treatments, and I was able to attend to my duties without losing a minute. Later a new and perfect nail appeared.
The spiritual blessing I received through the above trial brought gratitude to my heart, proving to me that "the hand of the Lord is not shortened, that it cannot save."
