About six years ago I was healed, through Christian Science, of a supposedly malignant growth on my forehead, which one of the leading surgeons here warned me about, as he was a friend of our family. He said nothing but an operation could stop the growth from spreading all over my forehead. The choice was given me of an operation or Christian Science treatment, and I chose the latter and asked a practitioner for help. In about six months the sore had entirely disappeared, and it left no scar. This seemed very wonderful to me, as for three years I had had constant trouble, and no material means helped it in the least. I have found Christian Science of benefit in many other ways since then, and have been able to overcome other seeming difficulties. I enjoy the Sentinel, Journal, and all the Science literature very much. It is a great comfort and help. I was over seventy-five when I first turned to Christian Science some years ago. I appreciate more and more Mrs. Eddy's life of self-denial, her great love for humanity, and her pure thought which made it possible for her to rediscover this healing truth for us.
