I am truly glad for the change of thought that has come...

I am truly glad for the change of thought that has come to me through the study of Christian Science. It was for a better and truer knowledge of God that I began to study Mrs. Eddy's writings, and I am continually filled with wonder, love, and praise because of the great and satisfying truth which has been and is being given to the world, through her love for and devotion to Truth.

I have been privileged to receive class instruction, and for this I shall never cease to be grateful. I have been able to make some small demonstrations, if any change from bad to good can be termed small, one of which I will relate. In passing through one of the heavy doors at a railway station, it swung to and I was thrown with great force to the concrete flooring and against a baggage truck. I was assisted to rise and was asked if I was badly hurt. I did feel rather unsteady, but with thanks I declined the proffered medical aid and all remedies. Saying that I would sit quietly awhile, I continued to declare the truth, and by and by I took a walk about town, as I was starting to do at the time of the accident. Two hours later, when my train was ready, all evidence of the accident was gone, and there was no unpleasant effect afterward. For this I am inexpressibly thankful. Truth is gradually, even if slowly, discovering itself to my consciousness. There are regrets sometimes that I do not understand more readily, but I am never discouraged, knowing that all things come to him who waits on God.—Mrs. W. T. Darling, Woodstock, Vt.
