About five years ago our next-door neighbor, an elderly lady, was healed through Christian Science treatment of a disease said to be incurable. That was my first knowledge of it. I went to the same practitioner for treatment for rheumatism of many years' standing, and also for periodical headaches. I was healed of these ills in about one week, and am free from suffering.

I then commenced the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I have now also read most of Mrs. Eddy's other works. After being healed of the two above-mentioned troubles, I still indulged in intoxicants until about eighteen months later. I then began to declare the truth for myself, for this evil, and the one treatment cast it out for good, although I had been a drinking man for forty years. For nearly twenty years I was not able to stand on my feet long enough to earn my living at work of any kind, but at this writing I am able to work as well as most men at sixty years of age. I have also gained enough knowledge of Christian Science to help others. I am indeed grateful to God, to the Wayshower Christ Jesus, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for all these blessings.—Adam Forster, Los Angeles, Cal.
