For many years I read the Lesson-Sermons from a sense of duty, but I thought I would keep on, as others got help from the study; but when my last baby was born, I saw what is gained if we seek first the kingdom of God. At this time only my mother and husband were with me, but I had absent treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. I got up after the child was born, and after breakfast I read the Lesson as I had always done, and found that it was not necessary for me to go back to bed.

I feel very thankful for Christian Science, and would not give up my understanding of Truth for all the gold in the world. My hope and desire is to be able to help suffering humanity to know Truth's power.
