About six years ago my little boy, then two years old, had what the doctors termed blood-poisoning. They treated him for eight months, operating four times, and at last it was decided to remove several fingers. They said further, that if this did no good they would have to remove his hands, as gangrene had set in.
The day before the one set for the operation, a friend asked me why I did not try Christian Science, and gave me the name of a practitioner. I applied that same day for help for my child, who seemed to be a physical wreck. I was told that there was no need to remove his hands, as he would soon be all right. In five weeks he was like another child, and walked the floor clapping his little hands and singing. The practitioner had not seen him for nearly five years until recently, when she remarked what a fine, manly little fellow he was. I said, "Yes, but only for God, Mrs. Eddy, and Christian Science I would have no such boy." I am indeed grateful for this wonderful blessing.
Mrs. Susie Carter, Portsmouth, Va.
