It is with a heart full of gratitude that I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for me. Since childhood I was said to be of a weak constitution. I was shortsighted, and my eyes were very weak. I also found walking difficult, and I would often stumble. A few years ago I heard of Christian Science and was told that it was the Christ-healing as practised nineteen hundred years ago. I then applied to a practitioner, who took up treatment and explained to me that I would get just as well as others were. My joy was great, especially as I have to support myself by my work. Now I feel well; my eyesight is much clearer, and I have found Christian Science to be only a religion which satisfies my yearnings, but which also enables me to rise above all physical ills. When in my school-days we were told of Jesus' healing work, I used to think, "If it only were so in our day!" Little did I dream that the same healing was being performed again,—a fact which gives me an indescribable feeling of joy. I can hardly imagine what my life would be had I not found Christian Science. I have also begun to learn English, with the help only of a dictionary, and am able to understand the textbook. Thus I know that nothing is too difficult with God, and that we may take everything out of His abundance.

Next to God, I thank Mrs. Eddy with all my heart for the great truth which she was enable to give to the world through her great discovery.
