I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...

I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. On Aug. 3, 1905, I had a stroke of apoplexy, and was under the care of one of the best physician here for over two years. He did all that he could for me, but I seemed to grow worse. I was on crutches for over six months, and the doctor said that I would never be able to work again. The world looked very dark to me when, through the grace of God, I had a Christian Science Sentinel handed me to read. I read it all through, and although it was like Greek to me at first, for I had never heard of Christian Science before, I was willing to try anything, so I sent for a practitioner. She called on me, and in just four days from that time I laid the crutches away. I have not used them since, nor have I even used a cane. Since September, 1905, I had not been in a streetcar, nor could I bear to stand near while one was passing, until the end of January, 1910, since which time I have Lad several rides. I thank God that I am now able to do a little work.

I wish to say that in April, 1909, my youngest son had his leg severely injured. After a doctor had set it. I called a Christian Science practitioner, with the result that he had no pain, and the swelling all went down. He got along fine, for all these blessings, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the God-bestowed power to give to humanity "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
