Christian Science has been a great comfort and help to me for the past ten years. Among the blessings received, there was one very pronounced case of healing to which I have long desired to testify, in the hope that it might encourage others to try the same remedy. About three years ago I was taken sick one Monday morning and continued to grow worse, so that by Wednesday morning I was forced to give up my office work. I feared to go home, because we had no telephone; so I went to the home of a cousin, who treated me that day. The symptoms, however, continued to grow worse, and as she saw that a fever had developed, she advised me to call an experienced practitioner. On. Thursday I was extremely weak, suffered greatly, was unable to eat, and had all the suffering common to that form of disease.

The Scientist who took the case worked almost constantly for twenty-four hours, when I was able to get up, dress, go to her home for present treatment, walk about half a mile, and eat an ordinary meal. Saturday I was back at the office and attending to my regular duties, although weak. Surely no one who has seen friends or members or their family suffer from this disease for weeks, and sometimes months, under medical treatment, could fail to rejoice with me in the quick healing which I received through Christian Science.—Mary R.
