I have long wanted to add my mite, along with the many who have contributed to our garner of testimonials. Many times in the past few years the "still, small voice" has urged me to do that which now seems a duty. After returning from our service today, my being was so filled with love for our heavenly Father that I am impelled by a desire that this testimony may reach some of my brother locomotive engineers, who are often running through the valley of shadows. Right here let me add that, when Christian Science was brought to me on that memorable day, Aug. 4, 1900, I had no love for Christian Science nor faith in it. There was not, however, a ray of light before me, for all material means had been exhausted in trying to alleviate my suffering from an obstinate form of rheumatism. I can say with perfect truthfulness that after a few treatments the pains left me and the stiffened joints were freed. Many other ailments have been overcome in a very satisfactory way.

Christian Science has been proved to me to be founded upon a perfect Principle, because it is of God, good. My greatest desire is so to live that I may be deemed worthy to be a follower of that remarkable woman, Mrs. Eddy, who has blazed the way through the forest of error so plainly that a lost child could find the path to peace, plenty, and happiness.—Geo. A. Burnham, Moberly, Mo.
