It is with great pleasure that I give this testimony as a small evidence of the benefit I have received through the study of Christian Science. In the winter of 1907 I was taken down by a very severe illness. I had suffered terribly from colds for many winters previous, and on this occasion I could not find anything to relieve me. I was on the point of calling in a physician, when my landlady asked me to try Christian Science, and gave me the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," to read. After studying the book for a couple of hours I found myself much better, and by the second day the trouble had all gone. I had also been a sufferer for many years from extreme nervousness and worry, besides a catarrhal trouble, which brought on severe headaches at times; but my worst complaint was a fear of lung trouble. I had tried many doctors to see if they could restore my health, but I kept getting worse continually. After my experience in being cured so completely and so quickly through the reading of the text-book, I made up my mind to call on a practitioner to see if Christian Science could heal me of the other ailments. I took treatment for three weeks, and was greatly benefited. I have been improving every day since, and now my health is fully restored. I am enjoying life and have a true sense of freedom.

I am truly grateful for Christian Science and what it has done for us, especially for the spiritual uplifting that I have received. It has also given a new meaning to the Bible, and words can never express my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for the understanding that I have gained, also for what this truth has done for suffering humanity.
