I do not feel that I would be doing right if I did not tell something of what Christian Science has done for our family. About a year ago I came home from school and found my wife suffering from a severe attack of illness. I had made arrangements to go out that evening, but decided to stay at home and help her. We both declared the truth as taught in Christian Science, and in about three quarters of an hour she was perfectly healed. I was able to keep my engagement, and my wife spent the evening with a friend. This was to us a wonderful demonstration of God's power to heal. Aside from the physical healing, we both received a great spiritual uplift. Our year-old daughter had been suffering from a stubborn bowel disorder. My wife and I worked for her, knowing that all action is normal and perfect in divine Mind. In two days all symptoms of obstruction were gone, and have never reappeared.

It would be impossible to tell all that Christian Science has done for us. We are happy in the truth, knowing that God is our source of supply. I apply the teachings of Science every day in my school work, and things are very harmonious, while before I came into Science I used to be physically exhausted every night from worry and nervousness. We are indeed thankful to God, and also to our dear and revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
