I give my testimony of healing in Christian Science, hoping that it may aid and encourage some one in need of the assurance that "with God all things are possible." I was healed over two years ago of the constant use of an opiate and whisky, by reading and studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Being a trained nurse, I had every opportunity to gratify the desire; and it seemed impossible to break the habit, which was of five years' standing, it had seemingly grown so strong. With the disappearance of the drug habit came a gradual relief from unendurable headaches, and all conditions, mental and physical, that go with the continued and often overuse of the above-mentioned drugs. My friends, once in constant dread of some fearful ending for me, are now rejoicing in the fact that I am a well, happy, and ever growing better woman.

How can I help being grateful to Mrs. Eddy, and how can I show my love and gratitude except by striving to follow as nearly as I can in the way she has proved beyond doubt to be the straight and narrow way which leadeth unto life. In place of drugs for constant companions, I have the Bible and the Christian Science "Key" to it. That divine Love meets all our needs I know, because I have proved it many times—for myself and others—and when one has proof he cannot doubt. I wish that all might know the peace and joy that the truth brings, but we must have patience, for the time will come when all shall know.
