For three years I suffered from a chronic disease of the stomach and bowels, and the physicians whom I consulted brought no help. The trouble grew so severe that I could take scarcely any nourishment. Besides this, I had suffered for years with rheumatism, and found no relief from medicine. A gentleman with whom I was acquainted then asked me to go to the Christian Science reading-room, and through the reading of the Herold which I found there, it became clear to me that Christian Science was the only way for me. I took treatment, and was completely healed in one week. Through the understanding gained through Christian Science I have become a happy and contented man. All that seemed incomprehensible has become clear, and dark shadows have been dispelled. I thank God, also Mrs. Eddy, for all the good that I have received.
