It is with gratitude to God for the healing power of Truth, that I give this testimony. In the spring of 1905 my daughter was healed in Christian Science, after all material means had failed. We were in deep despair, feeling sure we would not have her with us long, and her recovery had a wonderful influence on all of us, convincing us beyond a doubt of the power of Christian Science to heal all manner of disease. I have myself been benefited by its teaching in ways too numerous to mention. I have indeed reason to be very thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for this truth.—Mrs. Mina Pew, Rapid City, S. D.

In October, 1906, my husband was taken with severe pain in the side. He requested me to telephone to a practitioner for treatment, but after two days without relief, he (not being a Christian Scientist) desired a physician. The physician made two visits, diagnosed the case as gallstones, and said that partial peritonitis had already set in. Again the patient turned to Christian Science, the physician being kindly dismissed. A practitioner arrived that evening, having to travel seventy-five miles. She remained in the home, working faithfully day and night, with the result that in less than a week my husband was able to return to work, and has remained well since. Our little boy, now two years old, has never been sick, with the exception of a cold, which was quickly relieved by Christian Science treatment; and those who do not understand, marvel at his health, happiness, and sweetness. Christian Science has brought to me innumerable blessings, chief among which is the desire for better living. My gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, through whom God has revealed this wonderful truth, increases daily; also to those who contribute to our ever welcome publications.
