It is about eight years ago since I met with an accident and injured my wrist. I underwent a very severe operation, and it was nearly a year before I could work again. I had just got into a good situation when my hand began to ache and became bad again, so that I was obliged to give up work and undergo another operation. I, however, got fairly strong again, and settled into another situation. Everything seemed to go well for a few months, then to my dismay I found my old complaint coming back again. After that time I gave up all hope of ever doing hard work again; my doctor told me I would always have to keep going under operations. I lost all heart, and felt quite useless in the world, but thanks be to God, and to Christian Science, I am of some use in the world, for I am back again in domestic service and working as hard as ever I did before I was ill.

My sister heard a lecture on Christian Science in the Albert Hall, London, in April, 1907, and she came back and told me I could get healed of my long-standing trouble. I then went to the reading-room in Baker street, London, where I met a kind practitioner, who took my case. In less than two weeks I was back at my work, and have been well ever since. I do not know how to be thankful enough to God, and to the revered Founder of Christian Science. I hope many may get a blessing from my testimony. I am trying to help others with this wonderful truth. It is now nearly two years since I was healed.
