I give this testimony with a feeling of deep gratitude for all that has come to me through Christian Science. It has freed me of bronchial and asthmatic trouble, a so-called incurable disease. Three years ago I had a severe bronchial attack, and went to a physician, but although I remained under medical care, the disease spread more and more and asthmatic trouble set in. The attacks were infrequent at first, but became more and more severe and would overtake me often, so that I would not be able to attend to my work. At such times I was entirely helpless, and had even to be dressed and undressed. I tried one physician after another, and followed strictly their prescriptions. I, however, believed my trouble was incurable, and people would tell me, "You will not get rid of it, but you may live to become very old," which is surely a poor lookout for one who has become diseased at twenty.

Through acquaintances I heard of Christian Science and was advised to look into it. I went to a practitioner, took treatment, and was healed. I am well now, and need not be afraid of cold or damp air; I can have a cold drink without having to think that it may harm me. I can again be joyful as I used to be, and I owe this, next to God, to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way perfect health and happiness.
