For several years I had been in very poor health. It seemed as if I had almost all the diseases that mortal man is heir to. Two years ago I was on the point of going to a hospital for an operation, then I had neuralgic trouble or an abscess of the bowels. In June, 1907, I was in bed almost the whole month with acute lung trouble. Since coming into Christian Science, however, my troubles have all passed away. After having worn glasses constantly for over eighteen years, I took them off about the middle of April, 1908, and have not needed them since. I can read the finest print and do not know what a headache is any more, although I had suffered terribly with my head and eyes for years. I have been free from all these troubles since December, 1907, when I commenced to attend the services at a Christian Science church and to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." In this way I learned of the truth, for which I am very grateful. I feel so well now that I can hardly realize I am the same man I was before I took up the study of Christian Science. I cannot say enough for Science and Health and our dear Leader who gave it to us.
