I am unable to express in words the blessing which this wonderful truth has brought me. Christian Science found me in a sorrowful condition. For three years I had been hopelessly ill from nervous trouble in its worst form, coupled with a supposedly inherited organic disease of the heart, so that I looked death in the face daily and hourly. Just as I was about to resign myself to what seemed to be the inevitable, help came; the promise that darkness would be dispelled by light was fulfilled in my experience. God led me to get acquainted with the only Christian Science practitioner in the city, and she had been here but a short time. I shall never forget the first words she spoke: "Why do you not cast your net on the right side?" and the marvel of my healing occurred. From that day and hour I kept feeling better, and since a year ago I cannot thank God enough for the wonderful healing. All this has been done through the explanation of the true Christian faith, as given by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy. No one can sufficiently thank her in words, but I wish that very many of my poor sick brethren and sisters may comprehend fully the true Christian and spiritual illumination of Christian Science.
