I came to Christian Science through the healing of a little child. I was at that time suffering from stomach trouble, and had been taking medicine daily for two years and a half. This child's mother was a dear friend, and when she asked me to attend a Wednesday evening meeting, I did so, and came home feeling perfectly sure I had found help. I sent for a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and commenced to study it with the Bible. I was healed of the stomach trouble, and of severe headaches, from which I had suffered since I was a little child. Other ailments which had caused me a great deal of suffering have also left me. Several months ago I had what seemed to be an eruptive fever. I was very sick for about four hours, when the pain and fever left me and I felt as well as ever. The eruption came out, but lasted only four days. I did not go to bed, but did my work as usual. I have never had a treatment from a practitioner, my help having all come from the study of the Bible and our text-book. My husband is also in Christian Science, and we belong to the church here, which we both feel to be a great privilege. We have received much help from the services, and find the Sunday and Wednesday evening meetings a great help to us, both physically and spiritually. The good work is growing fast. It is just eighteen months since Christian Science came to our home, and the change has been wonderful to us. While we were happy, still we always felt there was something wanting, and we have found it in the peace and content and purer happiness which this truth is teaching us every day. I am very thankful to God for the blessings I have received, and my heart goes out in gratitude and love to Mrs. Eddy for giving to the world Christian Science.—Mrs. Ida E. Day, Boulder, Col.
