The blessings which Christian Science has brought and is bringing to me are many. I have been healed of troublesome colds and headaches, of many ailments not diagnosed, besides fatigue and various other discords. I am being healed of all sorts of erroneous mental qualities,—selfishness, impatience, resentment, apathy toward mankind, that dismal triad of self-love, self-pity, and self-righteousness, envy, dishonesty (I am beginning to see how much that includes), procrastination, and the like. Besides, I feel sure that Christian Science has prevented many diseases from manifesting themselves in my body, and I know that a true sense of health is being established. I am becoming more capable in my daily work, and have a sweet sense of security in the knowledge that the source of my strength is always present and available for every need.

Christian Science has taught me that there is no happiness apart from righteousness, and I understand now what it is to have "confidence toward God," as the apostle John expressed it. I am thankful for a growing appreciation of the wonderful work of our Leader, and in my heart is a song of praise for her inspiring example and unfailing wisdom. The periodicals and church services likewise bring me great joy. I feel richly blessed, and earnestly hope to work more persistently and understandingly for the overcoming of sin in myself and to render better service to others.
