I am very thankful to God for all that I have learned...
I am very thankful to God for all that I have learned through Christian Science, and for the blessings it has brought me, and it is with great joy that I speak of my experiences. For years I had suffered with a severe uterine disorder, for which I was treated by various physicians. Two years ago I became so weak through constant illness that I had to remain in bed continually and could not attend to my household duties. I was advised to go to a specialist for women's diseases, which I did. He stated that the trouble could only be removed by an operation, to which I consented, believing that after four weeks' stay in a clinique I would become well again. Half a year had scarcely elapsed, however, when the old trouble appeared again, and nearly as bad as formerly, so that the same physician told me he would have to perform another operation; but I could not make up my mind on that day.
Friends then drew my attention to Christian Science; I took treatment from a practitioner in Hannover, and was completely healed, so that I can do all my work again, even hard labor in the field. The improvement began with the first treatment and continued steadily. I thank God for the grace which He has bestowed upon me through Christian Science.
Frau Auguste Luessmann, Wietze Prov., Hannover, Germany.
