I want to tell others something of what Christian Science has done for me. I had not been strong since childhood, had coughed incessantly, so that people said I had lung trouble. I had many other ailments, among which were gall-stones, piles, and heart trouble. Materia medica had failed to relieve me, so we turned in our extremity to Christian Science. I was helped for a time, but as I kept a grocery store I felt I had not the leisure to read and study Christian Science as I should, so I decided not to trouble about it any longer. Finally, however, my health failed entirely and I was forced to sell the store. I turned to the doctors again, and was told that I must have an operation for a bowel trouble, but on examination it was decided that the heart action was too weak to allow of an anesthetic. With all the other ailments there was now added an acute attack of lung trouble, and as a last resort we again turned to the one "great Physician," I was relieved at the first treatments, and called for something to eat. It was then five weeks since I had eaten any solid food. In five treatments I was thoroughly healed.

Another blessing was the healing of my son, who smoked cigarettes and drank. I had begged him time after time to quit, but it seemed that he could not, try as hard as he would. After I began to take Christian Science treatment he was healed of these habits, also of a very sore throat. He did not take treatment, but was healed by the truth being demonstrated in the home, thus verifying the words of Mrs. Eddy, "All whom your thoughts rest upon are thereby benefited" (Sentinel, Oct. 6, 1906). I feel that I cannot say enough for that wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I thank her for it. Its teachings have saved my life. It makes the Bible plain and makes us better men and better women—better physically and morally. I thank God for His great goodness to the children of men, and I thank the one who was willing to give me a cup of cold water in Christ's name. Let all mothers who may read this take up Christian Science. It will help them and their families and make them happy and healthy.

Today I rejoice that I have been healed through Christian Science, and that I have the proof that "God is a very present help."—
