Having been interested in Christian Science for some years, and realizing the great blessing which it has been to my children in always bringing about quick healing, I would like to tell of some instances. The children have not had any medicine for nearly six years. The first demonstration was the healing of a dreaded cough in the case of my little daughter. This cough was the thing which I greatly feared, but I had Christian Science treatment for her and studied Science and Health, and to my surprise, after the first few treatments there were no more of the distressing symptoms, and in a very short time the coughing ceased. The healing of other ailments was also brought about most beautifully under Christian Science treatment, in four or five days. One night, after coming home from one of our Wednesday evening meetings, the little daughter manifested a severe cold, and my first thought was that she had been out too late. I then took her up and repeated to her the first stanza of that beautiful hymn, "In atmosphere of love divine." from the Christian Science Hymnal. I continued with the rest of the hymn, and then put her to bed. She went to sleep, and there was no more thought of cold or a croupy cough. Recently, this daughter while running home from school, fell and ran two rusty nails into the palm of her hand. Two ladies brought her home, and at once began to advise me what to do, and to tell me what might happen, which seemed to frighten us both. The child's hand began to swell, and she was so restless and feverish at night that it seemed best to ask for help in Christian Science. Treatment was begun on Saturday afternoon, and by Tuesday she was healed. That night I telephoned to the practitioner that the child was entirely healed; she had been using that hand the whole afternoon. Before coming into Christian Science my oldest daughter was subject to a distressing cough as soon as cold weather came. This trouble has entirely disappeared since she has been studying Christian Science.

Words cannot express my gratitude to God for what has been accomplished in my own case. I feel most grateful for the spiritual uplifting; and my daily prayer is that I may reflect more of Truth and Love. My deep gratitude goes out to our revered Leader, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for her loving labor in bringing this truth to mankind.
