LETTERS TO OUR LEADER
Taunton, Mass., Aug. 12, 1908.
Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy, Brookline, Mass.
Beloved Leader:—Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God and to yourself for the revelation of Christian Science, the glorious truth, which is to-day uplifting humanity and giving peace to thousands of weary sufferers. I am one of those who have received the manifold blessings of Christian Science, through the demonstration of infinite Truth. I was healed of a very serious illness two years ago, and since then my wife, who is a trained nurse, and I have joined the Christian Science Church of Boston. Until then all my life, from early childhood, was spent in laboring for the Apostolic Church of Armenia. I was in Jerusalem seven years, was ordained deacon by the Armenian Patriarch of the "Holy City," and was assistant secretary at the corresponding department of the patriarchate; have assisted in services held at Bethlehem, Gethsemane, and Jesus' Sepulchre.
