I cannot express in words my gratitude for Christian Science, but I may show it in a small way by acknowledging it through our periodicals. I had suffered for almost seven years from an abnormal growth, supposedly caused by injuries received at childbirth. This disease also produced eruptions. I was attended by the best physicians obtainable on this coast. I had two capital operations performed, and spent months in different hospitals, undergoing severe treatment.

Five and a half years ago I was without any hope of further help from materia medica, which had done all it could do. At this time I was persuaded to try Christian Science, which I did gladly, with the result that in two months I was perfectly well, and in a year's time there was no sign of the perfectly well, and have had none since. I am thankful for everything which has come into my life since taking up Christian Science, for the loving-kindness and patience shown me, and for the understanding I have attained of the eternal Truth that makes all free,—thankful to God first, to Christ Jesus the great Wayshower, and to our loving and unselfish Leader.
